Open-Editions commissions artists to design goods produced by local factories. Founded in 2015 by artist Lauren DiCioccio and designer Braden Weeks Earp, Open-Editions has collaborated with artists on objects ranging from bags and blankets to fortune cookies. Open-Editions sells these editions through a network of museum stores, independent design shops, and pop-ups hosted by five contemporary art fairs each year, including the Seattle Art Fair.
Civilization is a design practice that builds identity systems, digital experiences, printed materials, environmental graphics and exhibitions that are engaging, empathetic, sustainable and create meaningful connections. They work on a variety of projects for public, private and non–profit clients that share their commitment to creating positive change and promoting greater insights about our world. Through hosting workshops, lectures, their interview series–Beyond This Point, and their gallery, Non-Breaking Space, they hope to inspire conversation and connection.
